What is a CEU?
A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a measure used to quantify approved professional development and continuing education activities. CEUs are required to maintain NRPA professional certifications such as CPRP, CPRE, AFO, and CPSI.
How Do I Earn CEUs?
- Attendance at NRPA or IPRA conferences, workshops, and approved educational sessions.
- Academic credits from accredited institutions (total classroom hours divided by 10).
- Professional Service Experience Points — download the experience form.
How Do I Track CEUs?
You can track your earned CEUs through the IPRA Member Portal:
- Register for an approved event or educational session.
- Log in to the Member Portal at members.ilipra.org.
- Select the Continuing Education link to view and manage your CEU records.
