Membership to IPRA is much more than educational offerings.  IPRA offers its members a variety of ways to connect with like professionals; to build networks; share ideas; and hone leadership skills by participating or chairing one of our many committees and task forces.  IPRA offers its members a variety of ways to connect.    IPRA Membership Brochure

  • Professional Membership
    Individuals employed full time or part time in Illinois, in the field of parks, recreation or conservation.  Members must join at the highest level of eligibility.  pdf form

  • Professional Membership Non-Chicago Metro
    Individuals employed full time or part time in Illinois, in the field of parks, recreation or conservation. 

    For individuals who are employed by park and recreation agency OUTSIDE of the counties of: Cook, DuPage, Kane, Lake and Will. pdf form

  • Advocate Membership
    Full time educator in the field, a person employed by a University or College in a program related to parks and recreation, full time park and recreation professionals working outside Illinois, working outside of Illinois, person retired from the field, a person representing an association or foundation related to the field, or a person actively seeking employment in the field. 

  • Student Membership
    Individuals pursuing studies in the field of parks, recreation, conservation or related field that are not employed full-time by a parks, recreation or conservation agency.
