Event Description & Facility Features The IPRA Teen Ski & Snowboard Overnight is a statewide activity open to all recreation agencies in Illinois. Groups may bring participants between the ages of 11-19 years old. At midnight, Chestnut Mountain is closed to the public and the 140-acres overlooking the Mississippi River are only available to IPRA participants. Chestnut Mountain’s terrain is geared for all levels of skiers and boarders. They have a 475-foot vertical drop that spans for 3,500 feet through 19 different runs, ranging from novice to black diamond.
